1. Chess, for me, is a relaxing hobby. I do not take Chess as seriously as some people here do. I view losing outbursts against your opponent as not only reflecting your poor sportsmanship, but also personal lack of basic morals, because at the end of the day, +8 or +10 is not going to get the winner a grand master title and you are not worthless if you lose. Take it easy and play your best.

2.  I treat my opponents with respect and kindness. I never troll or abuse regardless of the outcome. I will not use trash-talk to distract you or help me win a game. Sometimes I wish "hello"  or  "good luck" sincerely and there's no sarcasm intended. I am happy to exchange GGs and I do not mind thanks and sorry. While I do not expect everyone to be that way, I do expect some degree of civility if you use the chat feature. I give as good as I get.

3. I don't always accept re-matches. Some people will keep pressing re-matches until they win or lose,  and frankly, it shows nothing but a compulsive attitude and utter disregard for your opponent's time and skills. I accept re-match requests only if my time permits. Understand people have other things to do in life.

4. I play Chess to observe. Every player follows a pattern.

5. My philosophy on this platform or outside of it is "In a world where you can be anything, be kind" - Be kind!

Have fun! playhand.png
