I had to take a break from chess.com for a couple of years - it became an addiction.  I'm back... in moderation.

I am a public school teacher and secular humanist.  I move the chess pieces around mostly on blind instinct and consider myself a "scrappy beginner".  (That deaf, dumb, blind kid sure plays a mean pinball!) If you are wondering why in the world I made that particular move, it was because it seemed like damn good idea at the time.  I tend to add more games than I should when I am "in my cups".
