杭州棋类学校（围棋学校）是由中共杭州市委宣传部主管、中国棋院杭州分院举办、杭州市江干区教育局协办，对具有一定棋艺水平的学生进行棋类专业训练的公办全日制寄宿学校。

学校创建于2005年，坐落于中国棋院杭州分院大楼内，设有13间教学训练室、并配有图书馆、电脑室、体育活动场所、学生宿舍，各类设施设备完善。

学校开设围棋冲段班、围棋读训班、象棋晋级班和国际象棋晋级班。读训班、晋级班采用“读训结合”的教学模式，委托杭州采荷实验教育集团和杭州采荷第三小学对学生进行文化课教学。

学校专业师资雄厚，由资深教练及职业棋手全面辅导，并依托中国棋院杭州分院、国家青少年围棋集训二队、杭州市围棋队专业力量，力邀众多国内外围棋、象棋、国际象棋名家名人来校指导。

学校设有学生奖助学金、比赛报销及奖励制度，以鼓励成绩优异的学生，尤其是围棋定段成功的学生还将获得定段特别奖。同时，设有学生伙食补贴、租房补贴、文化课补贴、陪读补贴等，以减轻学生家庭经济负担。学生获得围棋专业段位、象棋和国际象棋大师可优先推荐进入杭州市围棋队、杭州市象棋队、杭州市国际象棋队。

近年来，学校在全国大赛中捷报连连，仅2012年至2019年，学校围棋冲段班已培养出94名职业棋手，象棋晋级班培养和输送了6名象棋大师，国际象棋晋级班培养和输送了2名国际象棋国家大师。
