Daventry A 2.5 - 1.5 Banbury A

It's been a long time coming, but we have finally managed to beat Banbury in a match. No losses on board counts this time around and no messing around - Gary Jackson, Nathan Manley, Neil Staples, Nick Martin..... you boys took one hell of a beating!!

Well, okay, it was the usual great atmosphere between the two clubs and Banbury were great sports as ever - as gracious in defeat as they were when they defeated us. True gentlemen, all of them!

We are very proud of this win as it lifts us off the bottom of the league and I have a feeling that we're heading in the right direction (well, we couldn't have got any lower!). Perhaps we'll stave off relegation this season, who knows!?

Well done to the team, everyone put a shift in as usual!
