FizzyBand wins May 19th Untitled Tuesday!

Tonight's Untitled Tuesday (UTT) was a one-player affair. @FizzyBand won his first tournament with ease, clinching clear first place with a round to spare. He scored 7 out of the first 7, 8.5 out of the first 9, and lost only in the last round when he had already clinched first place. @CP6033 finished a distant second on tie-breaks ahead of @CrackLionX with 7.5 out of 10. @FizzyBand was seeded second to @Chessking_Original who dropped out after the eighth round, scoring 4.5/8.

@FizzyBand has been close before, but this dominating performance has given him his first Untitled Tuesday win!

The tournament was marred by the appearance of a player rated around 1300 who arrived late and won almost every game he actually played. He was subsequently banned from the site. 

The over-performer of the event this week was @lavanya1969! @lavanya1969, rated 1509, defeated two players rated more than 300 points higher than himself. He defeated perennial top ten performers @patzers (1826) and @Nyameba (+1900). @lavayna1969 was seeded 34th, but finished 19th overall.

Tonight's tournament hosted 51 players, of which 12 were rated over 2000.
