"Friday CLASH" event #11 REVIEW!
"Friday CLASH" events returned with a massive "Friday CLASH" event #11! Two new players registered to the Swiss part: @rogerbr13 and @JONATHAN_ANONUEVO. A big thanks to them and the other participants! Let's REVIEW the "Friday CLASH" event #11!!
1. The Swiss part.
The first round started with a quick win for @rogerbr13. @me_pennyboy got a 1 point bye. The second game between @champion-19 and @BoraBoy lasted for 103 moves and eventually, both players agreed to a draw in an opposite-colored bishops endgame! Here are the first round's games:
The second round started with a 1 point bye for @JONATHAN_ANONUEVO. @rogerbr13 quickly gained one more point by beating @BoraBoy in just 18 moves! @champion-19 and @me_pennyboy played for a draw until a late blunder from Black:

In the last round, @champion-19 failed to outplay @rogerbr13. A crazy game between @JONATHAN_ANONUEVO and @me_pennyboy followed!

2. The Knockout.
10 minutes after the Swiss part, the Knockout stage of the event started. @rogerbr13 played @JONATHAN_ANONUEVO in the first Semifinal as @champion-19 tried to beat @BoraBoy.
@rogerbr13 won the Final cause @BoraBoy got to go.
@rogerbr13 won the "Friday CLASH" event #11 and scored 25 points, @BoraBoy finished 2nd and scored 20 points, @champion-19 and @JONATHAN_ANONUEVO both earned 15 points. @me_pennyboy scored 14 points for 5th place! @rogerbr13 scored 5 bonus points for winning the Swiss part of the event.
