Gatherings at the Library

September 2021 saw JP Chess change venue from the lawn of the historic Loring-Greenough house to the terrace of the modernized JP library on South Street. At the library we have had gatherings filling all eight boards, even without the presence of some regulars. Each week we have seen new faces at the club as word gets out about the club via Facebook, flyers and word of mouth. We are hoping to have soon enough players signed up to the JP Chess Club ladder.
