Getting Started with Better Stats

Hey Team Beta! Today we're finally rolling out Phase 1 of a long-awaited replacement for our Member Stats UI. The current/previous Stats feature was definitely starting to show its age: There were errors and inaccuracies - and it provided zero scope for us to make improvements, add new features, or to introduce new types of stats for different activities.

Today you can see the new visual style applied to the same sets of metrics we've always had.

But this technology upgrade also paves the way for more exciting stuff to come. For instance...

• A page for all your Tournament stats
• Stats derived from game analysis, including metrics about your performance in certain openings, piece play, accuracy and more
• The ability to select a time-range that filters ALL stats data on the page - not just the rating graph!
• Better stats for Puzzle Battle and chess variants too!
• A Compare Players feature
• ...and more!

(There are a few features or visible fields that aren't fully functional yet (e.g. Custom/Learning puzzles, "Compare Players," etc.), but those will be up and running shortly.)
