With the monthly tournaments, the format with be standardized so it be exactly the each month. The specification is 5days, Max group size 5, minimum requirement of daily games 10 played, 2 advance #, Max Timeout 10%, and will commence within the last week of each month. With that in mind I’m going to change the Standard October tournament to 5 days, so it’s in line with the others.
Once the October’s tournaments get completed. Based on the statistics I will compare a monthly league. Eg number of wins points for attendance, minus points for timeouts so forth. I will do that as each tournament get completed. Once October, November and December monthly tournaments are completed. Based of the statistics of the monthly leagues of October, November and December tournaments combined. I will create a special tournament for best performers eg the finalist, members with a 100% attendance with a 0% timeout and so forth getting invite.
With 5 days it’s not to slow and not to quick and playing 4 games at a time is nice mix. Having the minimum requirement of daily games set at 10 played, particular in the standards ones. Means the players will have a ranking so it should make the groups be fair. With 960 that’s different there isn’t a minimum of “960game” option. So I’m considering to do minimum 960games” for January one. That would mean more admin work for me because I would have to look at everyone’s games sates. With timeouts set at 10% means less chance of timeouts in the tournaments.
For members who like different time formats, and different groups sizes, and custom positions. I will create “The CBC specials” for example a fast one like 1day, group size 12 and playing unto 22 games at once. A slow one like 14days playing 5 games at once. There will be more information about “The CBC specials” in due course.
