This competition is small I am only allowing the first 8 owners who reply to participate. The Registration will continue for a couple of days. After Registration is over I will post the pairings and a negotiation thread. Each Owner must negotiate with his/her opponent club owner.
Each round is 10 days long. You will have 1.5 Weeks To negotiate a time, set up the match and play it. If there is no match link posted in the results thread I will contact the owners and find out whether the match was played or not. If not I will count the match as a draw. (0.5 points)
Points:
Win= 1 Draw= 0.5 Loss= 0
Owners Role
When you register your club you have taken on a responsibility to inform your members about what you signed up for. If you are hesitant about having your club participate, make sure to consult your administration before signing up, then consult Friday_The_13th7 if you have questions. When you sign your club up you must place one Admin in charge of updating members. Friday_The_13th7 cannot post updates in 8 clubs, he will be muted by chess.com's auto-mute system.
Prizes
There is a few amazing things that will benefit your club if your club wins.
- You will receive a certificate to be posted on your public or private description
- You will be advertised as the winning club on Friday's Blog
- You get me to join your club for a month. (After which I will decide on whether or not I like it and whether or not I will stay)
No Players?
If a match is set up to take place at a certain time and no one shows up on one side, but some members are on the other side and a screenshot of the situation is posted in the result thread, then I will place your team as winner.
If no one shows up at all for the event and now screenshot is given there will be no points for either team.
Results thread
A Results thread forum will be posted (as well as a negotiation thread) To offer proof of your match you need to post one of the following:
- Both Club Owners agreeing
- A screenshot
- the link
Arguing
- Players Should not argue with other players regarding any situation.
-
The decision of the administration on any issue is final
-
This should not be debated within the group.
-
You may, however, politely petition the administration for a review of the decision via Private Messages.
-
Constant arguing and complaint may result in a member's ejection from the club.
