Not-So PRO (Rapid) Chess League - Season 12

Hello all,

I'm exited to announce that our club is willing to form teams, to participate in the Not-So PRO Chess League! Some of you might already be familiar with that Live Tournament. But for the rest, you may ask "what is it all about"?

- Not-So PRO is a Live tournament on a Rapid format, with 15|2 time control.

- Each registered team must be comprised of five (5) fully-fledged players and some substitutes (even one [1] is fine, but two [2] would be ideal). One of the fully-fledged members will be its Captain, who will be appointed by our Admins.

- Each team should have main players of 1650 mean rapid rating and the sum of all fully-fledged member's should NOT surpass 8250 elo points overall.

- Each player's rating is considered as the peak value derived from the past semester (look in detail, within the relevant graph in your Profile - will also be double checked by an Admin) in the Rapid category only (Rating Collection Period: Jul/01/2021 - Dec/31/2021).

- Candidate player's requirements:

• Being a member for a minimum of three (3) months in the chess.com platform
• Having at least 100 Rated Rapid games played (against at least 20 different human players)
• Having joined the Not-So PRO Chess League club (aka become a member)
• Having fully-filled with extreme care and timely submitted the Player Registration Form, ONLY after WoLC teams have been already fully formed. You'll be informed by an S.A. via a PM about this, so please manage being available to check.

- WoLC admins will decide upon the teams to be formed, after checking peak ratings of players' having declared and confirmed their interest within the relevant Forum thread.

- Features that make this League appealing:

• The average rating system for a team makes it fair enough, since participants, most likely, won't have to face an opponent of no-match to them (i.e. having a much higher peak rating)
• League games will be of flexible and not fixed schedule! After the pairings for each Leg are made and the round has started, players will have to arrange their matches manually. Opponents will have nine (9) days' max. duration at their disposal, to communicate within a special Furum thread regarding their availability, to arrange & conclude their game and finally post a screenshot/link of it's outcome, in order to notify the organizers.

 - For those who aren't familiar with this League, gradually, have a look within its Rules & Guidlines to learn more and be ready when time for the games has come. As about those who have played there before, or read its R&G in the past, find here the applied Changes that will be in effect as from the start of the upcoming season.

- Team Formation Deadline: Tuesday, February 16th - 23:00 UTC  (so please make sure you've done your part, by fully meeting the requirements mentioned above, until then!)

1) please go to the Forum thread, specifically created for this purpose, read carefully the instructions and declare your interest.

2) After you've done so, go to Not-So PRO Chess League page and become a member!

Later on you'll be informed by a WoLC S.A. if everything is OK, in which Team you've been placed and that you're ready to complete the Registration Form.
