Some information about chess for principiants. (I have some friends principiants here)

Chess is a board game for 2 players. It is played on a square board, made of 64 smaller squares, with eight squares on each side. Each player starts with 16 pieces: 8 pawns, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 2 rooks, 1 queen and one king.

What you have to try to do to win is to try to checkmate the opponent that means that the king will not be able to move and will not be able to move another piece to prevent it.
