Hello, since I am the leader of our Superstate team, I would like to prepare for openings, train, and analyse games with you to improve our chance of winning the Superstates Team Award. I will also be hosting a Simul with as many people as I can get. Please post the dates you are available. If this is not possible, we will just play in class as board game time.
Also, there is a very useful chess tool called openingtree.com. It works for chess.com and lichess.org usernames. Basically what it does is look at what openings your opponent plays and study for your opponent. Please note that this Superstate will be held in-person. To find in-person opponent's openings, before the games, just type your opponent's actual name in a new tab and chess.com. If no results come up, do the same thing with lichess. Once you found the username, insert it into openingtree. Click Analyse Games. Then it shows you what openings your opponent plays, but it takes a while to load. If you need help, just ask me. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK
An example is if your opponent is NEIL IYER or IYER, NEIL then just search up neil iyer chess.com on a new tab. If no results come up, just search neil iyer lichess.
Thank you all for those who are participating in the Superstates and I hope our team gets first place!
