The first "Friday CLASH" event review!
The first "Friday CLASH" tournament was a clear success - all participants gave positive feedback and all planned phases worked nicely! Thanks to @kraunak60, @sid0049, and @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V, who made this event possible. Welcome to the review of the first "Friday CLASH" event!!
1. Swiss part.
Two high-rated players registered for the tournament: @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V and @sid0049. @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V took an early lead by defeating @kraunak60 in the first round as @sid0049 won his game vs @champion-19 thanks to great knight maneuvers:
Two favorites (and two leaders before round 2) met in the second round of the tournament:
In the third and last round, @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V outplayed @champion-19 and @kraunak60 failed to defeat @sid0049 in a wild game!
@Tsvetkov_Andrey_V won the Swiss part with 3/3, @sid0049 came 2nd with 2/3 and @kraunak60 scored 1/3 and finished 3rd. @champion-19 finished 4th with no points...

2. The Knockout.
10 minutes after the Swiss part ended, the Knockout phase of the event started. In the Semifinals, pairs were: @kraunak60 - @champion-19 and @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V - @sid0049.
1st Semifinal: @kraunak60 3 - 1 @champion-19
In the first game of the match, kraunak60 blundered terribly in his attack but was saved by the clock. Here it is:
The second game was a "must-win" situation for champion-19 and he used the mistakes of his opponent to tie the score:
The bullet was one-sided at some point. Statistics showed that @champion-19 made 17 (!) blunders in two games!

2nd Semifinal: @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V was busy at that time, so @sid0049 automatically advanced to the Final.
THE FINAL: @kraunak60 2 - 0 @sid0049
kraunak60 continued his excellent performance with two wins in a row - and won the whole event! The only two games are showed here:
@kraunak60 won the "Friday CLASH" event and scored 25 points, @sid0049 finished 2nd and scored 20 points, @champion-19 and @Tsvetkov_Andrey_V both earned 15 points.
