Petroff Defence

The Petroff (Petrov) defence, also known as the Russian game, is a response for black after 1.e4 e5 2.nf3, where black mirror white with 2..nf6. The Petroff has a reputation for being notoriously solid, and is favoured by many of the worlds elite.
