My older bother gave me my first chess lesson.   At the age of six, as a first question, I asked about castling.  He said first you have to move away the pieces in-between, then the king flies up and over the rook, the rook skimming the board underneath the flying king.  The king landing just on the other side of the sliding rook.   I didn't believe any of that fantastic and wild description, but soon after found out he was telling the truth.   I've been an avid chess player since then and take a special delight in castling.
