I am an International Master (IM) Georgios Kanakaris and I was born in Serres, Greece in 1991. My journey as a chess coach started 12 years ago in schools and chess academies. Recently, I became a certified Fide Instructor (FI). As for my educational background, I have a degree at the School of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

I have been a chess coach for the past 12 years and have taught about 500 children and adults so far! Some of my students achieved quite significant distinctions.

I started my YouTube channel in April 2023 and already accumulated 500+ subscribers! For the Greek audience, there is minimal content and my goal is to help Greek chess players understand and learn chess in a better and more enjoyable way!
