♟️ Yeah, I play chess sometimes. It's alright, decent way to pass time between more interesting pursuits. Most of my actual energy goes into things that matter for me.

🎵 I'm knee-deep in sludge metal and grunge most days, proper heavy stuff that sounds like it was mixed in someone's garage by a bloke who thinks compression is a dirty word. If you know, you know. If you don't, you should listen more to dead people.

🎸 When I'm not listening to it, I'm playing it, bass guitar, obviously. Four strings, maximum impact, maximum fuss.

🤓 I'm a complete geek about everything worth being geeky about. Give me a good sci-fi series, fantasy that doesn't insult your intelligence, or a comic that actually has something to say, and I'm sorted. Most people's idea of "geek culture" these days is whatever Marvel's pushing this week, which is frankly depressing.

🖤 The semi-goth aesthetic isn't a phase, it's just how I look when I'm not trying to please anyone else. Black suits me, both literally and figuratively.
