Used to play a lot in University. One day someone invited me to play on one of the tables of the University's Engineering building Cafeteria, I quickly googled the rules of chess and went ahead to lose 6 games in a row and this hurt my ego so bad that I spent a good few hours practicing and learning openings every night. This situation snowballed into me joining the University's Chess team, the team that would bring our University to the JUVINEU games for the first time in history. Yes, we made it to the most prestigious interuniversity chess tournament of my home country and my team finished 5th out of 15 Universities (approx.). I scored 4.5 points out of 7, not bad considering there were FMs, and overall a good amount of players with 1900+ elo (I didn't even have Elo).

Now, I only play in my break time at work and sometimes at home before going to sleep.

I plan on making it to 1900 elo in all match types.
