Season 11 Registration, Format & Prizes
Greetings to all of you, dear friends, colleagues, bloggers, and members of BlogChamps! ![]()
We are proud to introduce the eleventh season of our beloved competition! In this announcement, I will introduce you to the rules, our new judging team, and the (possibly) new competition format! Let's get into it!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you want to take part in a new season of the competition, you have to register first. It is really easy, since we have a dedicated forum for that:
BlogChamps Season 11 Registration
In the forum, leave a comment with the probability score (1-10/10) that you will be able to publish your blog on time. For example:
I am registering. 10/10.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Registration will close on the last day of the Qualifiers Stage, so use that time wisely and start working on your blog already! We have a lot of helpful resources to get better at blogging, a forum where you can read blogs from other people, and a community ready to help you with the image for your blog!
If you have already registered, congratulations! You have taken a small step toward your new blogging journey! All you have to do now is wait for our event to begin.
Haven't registered yet? So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and do it! ![]()
Season 11 Kickoff: 15 May 2026
In recent seasons, we have been working to continually improve the format of our competition. We want you to enjoy participating and have more chances and opportunities to qualify.
But, it is important to clarify that the format of the BlogChamps season doesn't depend on the judges or the coordinators, but on... YOU! After all, the more participants → the more applications → the greater the chance we'll be able to try a new format.
We need to beat last year's record (54 in Week 1 + 58 in Week 2) to qualify 12 participants. If not, we will return to the old and time-tested format - there will be 8 qualified participants per week, and the format in this case will be determined later.
If you're participating for the first time and still don't understand what we're talking about, I recommend you familiarize yourself with the competition formats for the past seasons.
How the competition works
The competition consists of two stages:
№1. Qualification Stage
You will have two attempts to advance:
➢ Week 1 (May 15–22) — 7 days to write and publish your blog
➢ Week 2 (June 1–10) — 10 days to submit a new entry (last chance to advance)
Based on the results of each week, the following will advance:
• 12 participants — if the entry record is broken
• 8 participants — if not

№2. Playoff Stage
After the qualification stage, the playoff stage begins:
• Participants are divided into pairs
• Only one participant in each pair advances — the one with the strongest blog
• After three rounds, the finalists remain

Final — "Blog Bowl"
The final format depends on the total number of participants:
If 16 people are selected (old format):
➢ The final determines 1st and 2nd place
➢ A tie for 3rd place Semifinalists
If 24 people are selected (new format):
➢ The final is between three participants.
➢ Gold, silver, and bronze are awarded.
This season is special because we have the chance to move to a new format. (This will eventually be explained once the club owner makes a decision.)
And it all depends on you—the more applications, the more participants will have a chance to advance! ![]()
The competition will be judged by 6 judges in the Qualifiers Stage (Three judges for Week 1 & three judges for Week 2) and 5 judges in the Knockout Stage. Let's greet them!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And now a person you might know
, BlogChamps Season 6 Silver Medalist, Top Blogger, 2 times Blog of the Month Winner, and Season 7-10 coordinator. @VOB96! She will be judging the Qualifiers Week 2 and the Knockout Stages.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

BlogChamps Season 9 silver medalist @Alina_Bakhtina_24! She will be the Season 11 coordinator, posting announcements, and serving as a backup judge.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
During the qualifying round, judges will rate your blog on a scale of 0 to 10. During the elimination round, they will vote on which blog is the best. After each round, you can also contact them for additional feedback on your blogs!
Now let's get to what you've been waiting for: what will the winner receive? A slice of delicious pizza? A piece of candy? A chocolate bar? A free Chess.com subscription? Let's find out!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Traditional Prize
The winner will receive a recommendation for the "Top Blogger" title from the Chess.com staff. If your blogs are good enough to win the contest, they're likely good enough to earn a badge. But please note that a recommendation is not a guarantee.
Prizes from @VOB96
➢ U$25 Amazon gift card.
➢ A monthly Diamond Membership.
➢ A mention on her blog!
1) I am the winner of Season 11. Do I automatically get a Top Blogger badge?
No, please note that Top Blogger status can only be awarded by Chess.com staff. We will certainly recommend you and, as I said, your blogs are probably very good if you manage to win, but we cannot promise that.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) I think my blogs are very good, but I didn't win. Should I forget about my hopes of becoming a Top Blogger?
Absolutely not! We have many Top Bloggers who were raised by BlogChamps and didn't win their seasons, like @SheldonOfOsaka, @nbrasington, @sleepyporcyy, @YEAT, @AstroTheoretical_Physics, @NDpatzer, @Brandmair, and the list goes on. Basically, taking part and working hard to win is half the battle, as it is all about the quality you need to achieve during the process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) I also like to participate in the monthly contests of "The Blogger Awards v2.0" club. Can I submit the same blog to both competitions?
Yes, you can! Using the same blog is not only allowed but encouraged, so you can focus on writing only one great blog instead of splitting your time between two articles. Just make sure it is published after May 15th so that it is within the rules for both contests!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4) I am a new blogger, and I want to get better. Are there any materials that can help me?
Yes, of course! BlogChamps has an entire forum full of tips, tricks, and resources to make you a better blogger!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5) Can I use AI in my blog?
No, blogging is made for people, not for robots. You cannot generate any parts of your blog using artificial intelligence. The only exceptions are thumbnails and images in your blog, but if you are having trouble making them, we can help you in this forum! If we find out that you used AI in a competition, you will be disqualified.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6) Can I request a review of my blog for the competition before the results?
You can ask your friend, your mum, your sister, or your grandma. But you can't submit your blog for a review in any BlogChamps forums or ask for reviews and opinions from judges if you have already submitted it for a competition.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7) Can I use sources or websites to help me?
Yes, as long as you don't plagiarize or rephrase what they said without adding anything.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
8) Can I forfeit in the middle of the competition?
Leaving the competition without any reason will disrespect judges who spent precious time reading and judging your blog, and all participants who didn't pass on to the next stage but wanted to be in your place.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
9) I don't agree with the judging results. Can I appeal?
No.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
P.S. Well, that's all! If you have any more questions about the competition, feel free to contact @VOB96 or @Alina_Bakhtina_24. Good luck and best wishes to everyone, and may Season 11 begin!
