If my memory is correct, when you have less than 10 minutes, the DGT North American displays minutes and seconds. If you have more than 10 minutes, you can access the seconds, but only if you are making an adjustment to the clock -- they exist in an "unseen" state.

I think have a DGT North American clock. It's amazing but it doesn't have seconds on it which is sad. But it will when your clock is under 20 minutes. If you play primarily in USA or Canada, then you should prefer the DGT North American which includes settings for time delay. Otherwise it is the same clock as the DGT 2010.

If US Chess does not have a good deal, check with Wholesale Chess, Chess4Less, or ChessUSA. Sometimes they have volume discounts.

Good news!  Access to the manual pairing system on Chess.com has finally been granted.  This means it will be possible to schedule events with longer time controls with a one-night-a-week schedule.  I am in the process of figuring out how to use the system appropriately and will be setting up some one-day unrated "test" events with some lucky guinea pigs ... er ... volunteers to help with testing the pairing command system to make sure I am able to do this correctly.
