The Iron Gates Mesolithic is an archaeological culture that dates back to 13,000–6,000 BCE in the Iron Gates region of the Danube River, in modern Romania and Serbia. The culture is named after the gorge, and is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe and Serbia.
