Serving the bi-state chess community for over 40 years! Whether you're an old hand at the game or someone just wanting to learn how the pieces move, we hope you'll choose the Illowa Chess Club as the place you exercise your brain! We're dedicated to promoting chess and it's benefits throughout the Quad City Area and welcome into our clubs anyone who wants to open their mind to all the wonderful things chess has to offer.If you're interested in what might be the benefits of chess for kids, see this. The competitive branch of the club holds tournaments rated by the United States Chess Federation (USCF) each Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at St. Alban's: 3510 W. Central Park Ave, Davenport, Iowa, 52804.
