Hello, I’m Ivan! I love chess and play actively, especially rapid and blitz. I compete in tournaments whenever I can and focus on constant improvement through both play and study. Feel free to challenge me whenever you want! I would love to get a title someday, especially IM or GM. I currently play USCF, which I love, and would like to play it more and even start some FIDE tournaments.

My biggest inspirations are Magnus Carlsen, Bobby Fischer, Hikaru Nakamura, Garry Kasparov, and Gotham Chess. I’m also inspired by great players like Levon Aronian, Fabiano Caruana, Mikhail Tal, and so many more strong players and content creators for their unique styles and contributions to the chess community and world.

@MagnusCarlsen inspires me with his consistency, elite endgame technique, and ability to win from almost any position. His style shows how patience, precision, and deep understanding can break down even the strongest players.

Bobby Fischer stands out to me for his unmatched focus, preparation, and dominance. I respect how seriously he studied the game and how he could outplay opponents with clarity and accuracy. His games prove how discipline and hard work can lead to greatness.

@Hikaru Nakamura influences my approach to speed chess with his intuition, creativity, and ability to handle pressure in fast time controls. Watching him has helped me become more confident in blitz and rapid, especially in complicated positions.

Garry Kasparov, being dominant in his time too, inspires me with his aggressive mindset, deep preparation, and relentless pursuit of initiative. His games show how powerful dynamic play and strong opening ideas can be at the highest level.

@GothamChess plays a big role in my improvement, as he is the person whose content makes complex ideas easier to understand, helps me avoid common mistakes, and keeps me motivated to keep playing and learning. He’s also made chess more engaging to learn, creating great materials to watch and enjoy.

One of my favorite games is Game 6 of the World Chess Championship 2021, a historic battle that showed endurance, deep calculation, and how small advantages can turn into a win. It’s a perfect example of patience and elite-level decision-making. Magnus refuses to accept a draw and waits for the perfect moment to pounce and win!
