I started playing chess in High School and have played tournaments for over 30 years. I spent most of my career (and still am) in the Class B range. I spent the early 2000s away from OTB play furthering my real career (IT) and having kids (2 now). I get out to a few tournaments a year, but more for enjoyment than titles and money anymore.

My other major hobby is my involvement in the furry fandom. Everything from fursuiting to art (mostly comics...see my background). I also have a strong interest in Economics and Constitutional Law and classify myself as an "Evangelical Libertarian".
