Hi, I’m IM Attila Turzo.

I became an International Master at 18 and Hungarian Junior Champion at 19. I have been teaching chess for 30 years and coaching online since 2001, as one of the early online chess coaches.

I work with adult improvers, club players and ambitious students who want a structured and practical way to improve their chess.

My coaching focuses on:

• positional understanding
• middlegame planning
• practical calculation
• endgames
• building an opening repertoire step by step
• analyzing your own games deeply and constructively

I believe chess improvement should be both serious and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help students gain rating points, but also to help them understand chess on a deeper level and enjoy the game more.

Some of my students have gained 100–200+ rating points, won class championships, and achieved personal breakthroughs after years of feeling stuck.
