90's Alternative

The 90's is when alternative music hit it's stride and had more good music come out than at any other time. You had such pioneering bands as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden who really mainstreamed the grunge sound, to Radiohead, Happy Mondays and Smashing Pumpkins, who really helped broaden the alternative rock sound.
