Paradise Chess Club is one of the few clubs on chess.com that allows advertising. We do this as one of the benefits of belonging to our club. However there are still rules that need to be followed when advertising that I hope you will follow and these rules might have to be updated from time to time :

1. Do not post the same link or any other advertisement more than once in a 24 hour period.

2. Do not post links to clubs with the word "join" at the end of the link or anything else intended to trick someone into joining your club by simply clicking on the link which automatically makes them a member because their intention might have been just to look at the club before joining. They might not even realize they have become part of the club until they get some notification from the club and then they might not know how to quit the club.

3. Do not post really big advertisements that take up like ten lines in the notes or chat pages.

4. Bigger advertisements might be better put in our forums section. But then again just don't post it multiple times at once. And just do it once total. The 24 hour rule does not apply here as it does in the notes or chat section because the advertisement will probably be able to be seen for days or even weeks.

5. A member should not have multiple things to advertise. I don't want our club to be overran by someone or a group of people that clutter up our club so much with whatever they are advertising that it becomes a major distraction.

6. Do not pressure people in the club to join the club you're advertising, to join your tournament, or buy whatever you're selling. The simple advertisement should be enough.

7. Obviously if the link or advertisement the member gives is malicious in some way, that isn't allowed either.

People who break these rules will typically be given a warning, then be muted and if it continues banned. These rules are necessary to make our club a true paradise. If you're unsure what is acceptable for advertising you might want to ask me before you do it. Thank you for your cooperation.
