02.June.2020: I am trying to learn the Open Games and the Sicilian and play 3/5 minute. I have ONLY lost 180 points!!! No Worries Matey.

14may2020: it's just getting worse,... I do not even see check# anymore. And cannot win simple endgames.

03may2020: as i wrote before,... I think I have reached my plateau. Briefly, I got over 2000 to 2032, but once again back to 1982. But I did even win some 5 minute games. But mostly, I lost tons of them. I am always amazed that someone can see so much during a game.

I have decided to read and Annotate Soltis / Rioz / Sokolov / Uhlmann's / Belivasky (IQP) manuels with a board and my own NON-Silicon Brain. I also need an opening repritoire that I understand and know the tactics.

I have an Italian set of the very good Serbian / Croatian Capire le Aperture Vol I-III; and Marin's work on the English but also in Italian.

Perhaps in 3-4 months,... I might have an understanding of how to open the game and their associated opening structures.

14apr2020: I just realised that doing random tactics on the server is major Bullocks; You have to do targeted tactics that are relevant to the type of positions that you play. Follow me a bit,... If you play the KIDefence as Black or Defend against it as White, the Black Cardinal at C8 is often a player in mating attacks. If you are an e4 e5 player then the games of Morphy / Keres are an Absolute must along with the tactics from Tarrasch's Das Schachspiel, Kapital 3,... I also imagine Simon (Ginger GM)'s tactical DVD's on the London System are rather enlightning,... Continuing my arguement look at the games of MVL especially his draw against Alex Kirlov (sp sorry) in the Candidates,... He knows all the tactical ideas of the Sicilian. Probably like Kasparov did in his favourite opening systems or Grischuk / Botvinnik in the Isolated Queen pawn Structures. It is not that studying tactics in of themselves is Bullocks, but your efforts must be targeted to your opening systems. Otherwise you are just shooting in the dark and wasting your precious time.

I think I have reached my Plateau,... 1982. I have to play better if I am to get over 2050 or even 2000. Got to look at my games and see if I can fix something.

2020: the more I play the more I realise that it is small tactical errors and PPM that determine who wins or not. NOTE: in my case it's Losing Tactical Errors, No Clue about the MiddleGame,... and the fact that my opponent usually makes more errors than I do in the Endgame. Translation -- I am one lucky gal.

There is sooooo much I do not KNOW.
