🏆 ONLINE CHESS TOURNAMENT RULES & ELIGIBILITY

📌 IMPORTANT NOTICE

Participation in the tournament does not automatically qualify a player for prizes. Only players who fully meet all eligibility requirements and comply with all tournament rules will be eligible to receive prizes.

Players who fail to meet the eligibility requirements may still appear in the tournament standings but will not be considered for prize awards. In such cases, prizes will be awarded to the next eligible player in the final standings. 

This is due to the fact that some accounts were already members of the club before the debut tournament was announce.

✅ Eligibility Requirements

• Account must be at least 1 year old.
• Account must have at least 1,000 completed games.
• Players must have an established rating on the platform.
• Only one account per player is allowed.
• Smurf, alternate, or newly created accounts are strictly prohibited.
• Organizers reserve the right to deny entry to suspicious accounts.

♟ Tournament Rules

• All tournament games are rated.
• Players must follow the platform's Fair Play Policy at all times.
• The use of chess engines, AI tools, opening explorers, analysis boards, or any external assistance during games is strictly prohibited.
• Receiving help from another person during a game is not allowed.
• Any form of cheating will result in immediate disqualification.

🚫 Fair Play & Disqualification

• Organizers reserve the right to review games and accounts for Fair Play compliance.
• Any player found violating Fair Play rules will be disqualified from the tournament.
• If a player's account is banned, closed, or flagged for cheating during the tournament or within the review period, all prizes and standings will be forfeited.
• The organizer's decision regarding Fair Play matters is final.

💰 Prize Distribution

• Prizes will be sent 3 days after the tournament ends.
• This 3-day period is allotted for Fair Play review and verification.
• Players found cheating, banned, or flagged during the review period will not receive any prize.
• If a winning player is disqualified, banned, found guilty of Fair Play violations, or is later determined to be ineligible based on the tournament requirements, their position and prize will be forfeited.
• The next eligible player in the final standings will automatically move up in rank and receive the corresponding prize.
• Organizers reserve the right to adjust the final standings based on Fair Play review results.

📌 By joining the tournament, all participants agree to follow these rules and accept the organizer's decisions regarding eligibility, Fair Play reviews, standings, and prize distribution.
