Chess and Tacos - NYC

Established in 2023 in the Upper West Side (UWS) of New York City, by semi-professional taco eaters, aiming to improve their skills in chess! In person meetings happen at Tacombi in UWS (typically on Taco Tuesdays), or when weather permits at the Chess and Checkers House in Central Park before or after tacos. We eat tacos al pastor, and jaque mate al pastor (Scholar’s Mate in Spanish).
