Welcome to The CHESS ENTHUSIASM!
We are a friendly, international community of chess enthusiasts dedicated to improving our skills, building friendships, and enjoying the royal game together. To ensure a fair, respectful, and fun environment for everyone, all members are expected to follow the rules below:
I. 🧠 Purpose & Vision
Promote chess education, fair play, and global connection through chess.
Create a respectful and active space for players of all levels to grow together.
Encourage creativity, discussion, and healthy competition.
II. 🫱 Respect & Community Conduct
Be respectful – No insults, personal attacks, hate speech, or harassment.
Be inclusive – Everyone is welcome, regardless of rating, age, gender, or background.
No spamming or unsolicited advertising – Especially links to other clubs, products, or off-topic content.
Use appropriate language – No profanity or inappropriate jokes.
Keep it chess-focused – Off-topic chat is okay in moderation, but our core is chess!
III. ♟️ Game & Tournament Rules
No cheating – ever
Using chess engines, bots, or external help is strictly forbidden.
Violators will be banned and reported to Chess.com.
One account per player
Do not use multiple accounts or impersonate others.
No match-fixing or point manipulation
Never coordinate to intentionally lose, win, or draw games.
Respect tournament rules
Each tournament may have specific rules (time control, format, tiebreakers) – read them carefully.
If you're unable to play, please withdraw early or inform an admin.
Good sportsmanship
Don't rage quit, stall in losing positions, or taunt opponents.
Win with humility, lose with dignity.
IV. 🎓 Learning & Community Activities
Help others when you can – Share your insights, strategies, and experiences.
Join our training events or discussions – If available, we may host game reviews, puzzles, or lessons.
Suggest ideas – We welcome creative input from all members!
V. 🚫 Consequences of Rule Violations
First offense: Warning via private message.
Second offense: Temporary suspension from events or club chat.
Third offense: Permanent removal from the club and report to Chess.com if necessary.
For serious offenses (e.g., cheating, abuse), steps may be skipped.
