Hells Heimatt CC was started by three chess enthusiasts originating from Hallingdal, Norway. The club name is a stupid pun, but in our local dialect the meaning is simply "give my greetings to those back home". Or it could mean "Say hello to the [chess]mate".
Hells Heimatt CC blei starta av tre utflytta golinger, men klubben
er vidåpen for alle som lika eit slag sjakk. Det gjeld både dei med og dei utan heimlengt, noko som klårt og greitt skulle gå fram av klubbnamnet.
