Legionnaires, you have been selected for a great honor! Your Tribunus Militum must think very highly of you to nominate you for service in the Imperial Navy of Rome! Here we are at the Port of Lipara in the Lipari Island of the coast of Sicily. On the very docks you're standing on once stood Romes' first and greatest naval commander, General Gaius Duilius! During the First Punic War in 260 B.C. General Gaius Duilius led 103 Roman warships into battle against Carthage at the Battle of Mylae. After a sounding defeat of the Carthaginian fleet, we were on our way to becoming the sole ruler of the Mediterranean Sea. But, at last there is still more to be done, more lands to be conquered and battles to win! Enough talk! Put your mark here and climb aboard we set sail when Apollo's chariot drags the Sun across the morning sky! This group will only participate in Daily Matches, Multi-Club Arenas and Live Matches.
