The start date is the 45th birthday of Declan Donnelly, better known as Dec from the partnership Ant & Dec with Anthony McPartlin. This began when they were cast together as youngsters in the TV series Byker Grove 1989-93. Their friendship forged, they have become together the nation's favourite presenters - from Pop Idol and SM:TV Live to I'm a Celebrity, Britain's Got Talent and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway they seem welcome in every home in the UK, winning most popular TV presenter at the National TV awards for 18 years, plus seven BAFTAs and two British Comedy Awards, also pop stars themselves with Let's Get Ready to Rumble in 2012.
