I found the BCE much more useful as you can carry them almost everywhere. The stack can not be taken out of home, it looks indeed really heavy, and I don't have problems to store a normal chessboard at home.

The stack seems anyway a great product, but I think it is done that way just by an aesthetic reason. I find the BCE much more interesting as I could take it to play anywhere for sure. It doesn't look too heavy and it is even easy to carry in my back pack than the usual rollup board 

I wouldn't consider the stack, but REALLY waiting for Ifelaki to sell the BCE magnetic chessboards in a regular basis.

When will we see a Best Folding Chess Board Ever?  I am very interested in seeing what you could come up with.  My bet is it would be made of plastic!

I wouldn't buy the stack as I consider it just decorative. I would rather buy a BCE one. 

But I think BCE is not selling the magnetic chessboards right now. At least I don't see them available in the webpage. I'm waiting BCE selling them again.
