Hi guys.

Just wondering for those in Britain and Ireland where would be the cheapest and best place to buy

[A] Fundamental Chess Openings[Paul van Der Steren]

[B] Understanding the chess openings[ IM Sam Collins]

Also if you guys know of any good tactic books please let me know.

Thanks,

Sorry, I'm not in the greater Great Britain area. But I would think local bookshop would be a good place to start.

Especially shops specializing in used books.

You might get these books in a local book store or on amazon.

Looks like the first one will cost you a tenner or so:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/FCO-Fundamental-Paul-van-Sterren/dp/1906454132

My favourite tactics book is "Winning Chess Exercises for Kids" by Jeff Coakley. (It's not just for kids)
