A new line vs the traxler for white

Sort:
metallictaste

I'm about to go to a OTB tournament, and I found a nice move I wanna try if I meet the traxler.

1. e4 e5

2. Nf3 Nc6

3. Bc4 Nf6

4. Ng5 Bc5

5. d3! ...

It seems that castling might make Ng5 be a wasted tempo but...

5. ... 0-0

Now...

6. f4!

(6. ... h6 is met with 7. h4!, because if hxg5, hxg5, and after the knight retreats, Qh5!)

6. ... d6

7. f5

White's king is perfectly safe where it is, and the pawns on the kingside are ready to storm away. If for whatever reason, the attack slows, white can finishqueenside development and castle queenside.

Thoughts? Refutations? Suggestions?

6 ... d6 is too timid.  Black should counter with 6 ... exf4, 7 Bxf4 d5!.  The game might continue: 8 Bxd5 Nxd5, 9 exd5 Re8+, 10 Ne4 Qf6!, 11 dxc6 Qxf4, and White is in trouble.
