It all depends on preparation ,opponent ,your own mental state and are you a positional player or tactical player ?before playing are you in a Killer mood or satifyed with a draw? ..evry opening kan be a dangerouse weapon under the right surcomstanses. take f.exc the russian  opening  it can be used for draw or for win it all depends on the player  who plays it. studie players whose stile you miss in your own game if forexcample you are a positional player studie .tactical player ...and vice versa.Chess is a psycological game you also playing a person always remember that .

Good luck

If you know your opponent then it's a judgement call, if you don't then stick to basics and keep it simple.

1 b4 is the best opening move. It never ceases to be exciting and sharp and most people freak out and blunder at about move two. It has a billion names, but the two most common are Sokolsky and Orangutan. I prefer Sokolsky because he was the player who patronized the opening and made most of its theory, even to this day.

honestly speaking .... every opening has its own importance ... so it is basically different for every individual as everyone chooses an opening they are comfortable with ... just try and practice every possible variations on it and try to develop urself on it and u can be a genious on tht particular opening ...
