I've learned that Carlsen wants to just reach a playable middlegame and then beat his opponents from there. He is definately one of the top choices. I'm looking for the slightly less heard of people who contribute a lot to attacking chess so I can have more than just Carlsen to observe. I think that Shak might be just that but I wanted to get some opinions. Carlsen is definately a good choice though.
Does anyone follow this GM often? Is he one of the best attacking players of today? I am looking for newer attacking players and he seems to meet that criteria very well. If not him, then who would you suggest from todays ranks?
