Time increasing during the game, somebody knows why does it happens.

You played with a time control of 15/10. Every move you make, 10 seconds are added to your clock. It's called an increment and is very useful when you're running out of time in an endgame.

I don't know why,but when someone has 5s on clock,and i have like 10s,when he plays move he gains like 1s or so,and we are playing on 3 min without adding anything That happens a lot and I lose even tough i should have won Why is that???
