King of the Hill

The goal of this variant is to put your king in one of the four squares in the center. So castling is just bad.

No, it was not invented on lichess.org.

CiDitO

Ok, thanks.

Pretty much like chess. You should not hurry too much with the king.

KotH appears to be the variant closest to normal chess. You've just got to play a normal game with only slight tactical adjustments by the looks of it. If you start marching your King out, you're just gonna get mated like in a normal game!

What is crazy house?

DoOrDie71

The variants Crazy house, King of the Hill, and 3 Check are on v3. To aces v3, go to the bottom of the page and click "Try the new Chess.com" or go to www.chess.com/switch

I was asking "what is crazy house", because I don't know this variant, but thanks anyway.

Look no further for the rules than here:

It is not that easy to mate the king in the middle of the board, if a player can get his king to the third rank then it is very hard to defend against clearance sacs (i.e. with the queen), you have to have a supported piece to plug the gap.

One question, how many KotH games have you played?
