Chess.com Feature Request and Wishlist #6

I'll be summarizing the previous list (found here) and then presenting the findings here.

how about a feature to delete past games for premium members only?

Erik, yo.

Here are two ideas:

1.  In almost any page, we are shown an alert update of "My Move" games. Is it possible to have that alert, too, on the pages where we are playing a certain game?

2.  Regarding our individual ongoing games list where the games are arranged per "the least number of days left", can there be an option button where we can arrange them per our need? For example, "rated games first", "tournament games first", among others.

Chess 950

- fix the castling in the position/game tool.

- add team matches

- add 960 vote chess

I'm really enjoying this variant. IMO it's a very worthwhile and enjoyable to play.

960 Team match exc. please, an option to hide your opponents rating, and a new vote chess ranking system, Rigamagician has a good one right now.

I totally agree that it would be cool if there was a way to "castle" correctly when we post a game. I've been preparing an annotated 960 game I plan on posting later tonight and I have to split it into 2 on the castling turn. Not that big a deal, depending on how easy of a fix it would be.

I also wonder if there was a way (though this has a scope larger than anything chess.com can fix) for pgn's to include the change in starting position... probably not?

Also: I love love love 960 and I'm so glad it's on the site.

Tunatin's joke is that his suggestion is to have a "Feature Request and Wishlist forum" in the "Feature Request and Wishlist Forum".

He's saying "My suggestion is that it would be great if there were a place to make suggestions", inside the place to make suggestions.

My sense of humour is intact, thanks, it's just that taken in the context of your numerous other posts chastising him for not pulling a summary together for you it certainly didn't read as a joke.

you know nothing about TheGrobe, you know nothing about me, and from the platitudes and poor-advice you spout you have no experience running a business or website. and yet you fly around the forums, judging, commanding, and offending. i think it's time to stop.

this is a forum topic for people to throw out ideas. it isn't my project management platform, and it isn't a democratic referendum on the future of chess.com. i know that your life feels incomplete without me diverting countless hours on perfectly formatting each and every suggestion made on this forum and that i am a horrible website manager for not delivering said report to you on time... but i'm not going to do it. i read each and every post made in this forum, and i absorb the good ones, ignore the ones we can't or won't do, and keep my own list, which i may or may not share as i deem it appropriate. i'm too focused on important things to waste my time on unimportant things. get over it.
