Chess.com Feature Request and Wishlist #6

The only person I see erik fit to discipline is jrcolonial98...
BACK ON TOPIC:
My next suggestion is that this thread be locked and wishlist 7 started so I don't have to scroll through the pyramid while reading this thread...
hey, ill have you know, i deleted all of mine. its like when you play you clean up. the others however...

Can't chess.com do a takeover of chessgames.com? They have cool database functionality, you guys can make an interface that looks good.
Failing that, could you please steal the idea of games collections :-)

Sorry everyone... I deleted all my pyramid comments.
Thank you A LOT... Now if onky we could remove them from the pyramids still posted...

in chess 960 team match when a bunch of people have a 1200 960 rating can it order them by there normal rating?

yeh but in my team match black knight assassins vs fisher random a majority of the rooster was 1200's and 5 were in the roster and 5 were off so i had to choose the best 5 manually (deleted the others)

how about chess.com first 960 tournement (based on normal ratings as of meny still do have 1200 even though normally there 2000

Mobile Chess request:
Throughout the Mobile App on my Blackberry there is often a "Back" button in the lower right. I'd love it if the back button on my Blackberry actually clicked this button when it was available.

As more people play 960, this problem will fix itself. I agree with you, though; sometimes that provisional 1200 rating is very misleading!

I'd like to see support for Aquarium i-Books in blog posts, articles etc. I-books are an electronic book (e-book) with special features for composing and reading chess texts.
From what I understand about the implementation it's Web 2.0 friendly in that i-books are essentially wiki documents. The level of interactivity and the crisp, professional formatting of i-books would take chess.com's content to a whole new level.
You can read more about them here: www.chesscafe.com/text/chessok29.pdf

One thing I don't like is that the graphics of chessboards isn't consistent throughout the site.
The values that determine how my chessboard looks - those in Settings - only affects the games I play, with other chessboards (like positions/games posted by users, quizzes etc) retain their preset appearance.
In my opinion all chessboards should look the same to me, no matter what set of pieces or colours others have chosen. I've chosen mine and I'd like them to be used everywhere.
Thanks.

I can't count the number of times I've said this -- I agree completely.
The individual posting a diagram doesn't know what board sizes I prefer, nor what work best for my resolution. I should have an option that allows me to override the poster's chosen settings with my own.

That's not reason enough -- I could just as easily argue my point (and I have) by saying that the person who is viewing the board has settings that work best for their preferences and monitor resolution and have likely chosen those settings for use during their games and that this should also by applicable to any diagram on the site.
Why do you care how I view your diagram? The content doesn't change.
I thought chess.com staff did it!
