I dislike one thing very much

I just got kicked out from game because I tried to wrote 'shit'
I do that quite often as ordinary word, but I got kicked?

It makes no sense if I say like ''Shit I forgot that''
I get warning for that, no sense.
After a while again I write someting similar and I get kicked out of game so I lose it because of that?

I really start to dislike this place, if things are taken care like that. Why such a bad word is just not removed if you people don't want to see it, but why give penalty for players if they try to write it?

CryptonoX

Makes no sense, censure ok, penalty senseless.

Start your own chess server, then you can cuss up a blue streak if you want.

Use   shot or sh*t instead and likely the auto-bot censor wont be triggered and your opponent will still understand .

I suggest that you swear in your native language. Phrases like "hiisi vieköön" ("may the goblin take it") are more colorful and will increase cultural cross fertilization. I doubt that the filter includes many Finnish swear words like that.

Looking up Finnish profanity on wikipedia, I see now that people in Finland just swear a lot.  Is that true? I never knew that. "Perkele!"

I understand chess.com, kids and stuff, but then again, most of the swearing coming at me has been from users with things like 94, 97, 98 in the username... quite ironic isn't it?

Swearing doesn't offend children it's more for certain parents.  When I was a kid swears didn't offend me and the lack of it in certain kid shows I found odd.  It's not like hearing it will give your kid cancer or anything.  Still, some games offer a swear chat filter that the user can simply turn on or off at their discretion.
