If someone is bombarding you with game requests and friend requests, is there a button or way to block this or do they have to be reported?

If it becomes a persistent problem you can report it to one of the staff. I have had it too.

Doesn't the standard block take care of it?  (I'm not sure but here it is anyway).

So that's where it is. That's really useful.

What harm is it if someone wants to be "friends"? Smile

Ok, so if you've played a game with someone...they can keep putting messages in the game so that it keeps popping up as a new alert.  Lovely new tactic.

I have an opponent who continually plays the Najdorf against me. Is that

    considered harassment?

You could hire Kevin Costner, maybe.

You've been here how long, and you don't know how to block somebody?

Have you tried telling the person to stop? Sometimes that works.

You've been here how long and your rating is only ... no, I don't think that would get the point across. I'll just block you.

Blocking doesn't stop the person from putting more messages in the game which continues to allow alerts to pop up from that game.

He's actually named the latest game request "Three times declined but I still have hope".

Corrijean...hm..."you're an idiot" and ignoring the person doesn't work these days?

Well, sometimes it doesn't work. It's always worth a try, though.

I didn't know there was a game. Just report it in Help & Support, and see if they can stop it. You'll probably have to do a screen shot of the game.

Now that he's blocked do you still get game challenges from him? If so, I'd ask staff to help. And as woodie says, I'd ask staff to help with the finished game situation.
