Have you noticed that next to the message box there is a warning that says that one should be nice....because abusive or inappropriate messaging "can lead to your account being suspended or removed?!!!!!!"
Does this mean that Erik can read all of our private messages?

Aeppel, I'm sure Erik is a classy enough guy as that he doesn't deliberately go in and read messages just on a whim.
If you were going to get in trouble for sending me those x-rated messages, I'd have to REPORT you first.
THEN WHAT ELSE DOES HE DO ALL DAY?
WAIT SO THIS IS TRUE AND OUR MESSAGES ARE BEING MONITORED? WHAT'S THE CRITERIA????
How would I encrypt it? Instead of saying:
"Let us plot the attack against Erik and all of the chess.com staff and unite the global community in a socialist revolution of chess!"
Maybe I could say:
"The color of noon is in the redness of the ivory King. Two pawns in a chain are worth more than a watch tower."

You know, if you're all worried about these messages getting intercepted, I'll have you know that Erik ONLY reads the messages which are in some way related to my mom. Way to draw his attention, A.
Its not just ERIK,it could be the whole staff.But reading ther peoples messages is disrespectful,and violation of privacy.bull crap!

I saw all of them at the Live Chess , where they hunting for china spammers, who used 2 pages of screen with Mandarin Language Spam.
So, the Staaaaff is too busy... to read your paranoid diary.
This is why I include site suggestions in the post script of all of my messages.

P.S. Hey Erik I was hoping that group admins could have the ability to edit the titles of threads in their respective groups. You see, I want to "tidy" up all of the submissions in the Poets and Writers group to reflect the author's name for purposes of easy navigation.
