No, it's a common complaint, that people abandon a lost game rather than resign. They're supposed to get automatically detected and penalized by the web site eventually. Once in a while it might be a legitimate internet glitch but not always. It's a PITA and there are many threads here already on this topic!

I seem to get quite a few opponents who leave part way through a game, sometimes but not always when they are in a bad position. I generally play 30 min games. Is this a commen experience or is it just me?
