Streaks are a statistical certainty in any competitive system. If you flip a fair coin 100 times, you will absolutely get streaks like:
* 4–5 heads in a row
* 6–8 tails in a row

Losing Streak continues. System is pushing me down by force again. Strong opponents push me like Im a beginner. Time for a break or sandbagging myself. Its ridicolous.
Yeah, losing streaks are definitely going to occur. This is a new account, and I deleted my old one because I lost 300 Rapid rating points after reach my peak of 2000. I am frustrated, and I hope this new account will have a better future. I'm planning on playing 30 minute games instead of 10 minute games (to really think about my moves).
Good luck to any of you who want to improve (and not lose like 70 games in a row).
Good to read that someone make same experiences. But u will face more cheaters, if u play 30 minutes.
Is there any reason that many players - including me -, got losing streaks? If i check my opponents, sometimes they have losing streaks, too and of course they win if they play against me in a brutal way (strong, sharp, fast) that I clearly dont know understand how they have losing streaks with normal long games of 30+ moves.
It´s so frustrating. Sometimes it seems that the system regardless of the site (either lichess or chesscom) push u down in a forcing way. Why it dont let u stay in ur ranking?
Even masters like Nelson (YT) lose nearly 200 points in rapid with their regular account. Im talking about myself "only" about +/-50 points, but in the past it was a range about 600 points and I really dont wanna make this experience again. Because thats a absurd way.
In the past, even support said it´s a rollercoaster what my ex-account did multiple times and I got higher again a bit faster the before. So that´s it? Losing "by force" so u can climb up again - and again - and again? Is that about matchmaking?
So what´s going on in online chess?
Oh, before I forget: I analyze my games afterwards.
