Most people living in California, where Chess.com is headquartered, think the world revolves around them. Oh just kidding folks....I guess it's just easier to keep track of all those games if they use one time zone, maybe simpler code or fewer bytes to store or whatever. And yes, this is just a wild guess...

But in this case, why would they ask me to setup my time zone in my profile menu if it has no impact on the system date ?
The other possible explanation: a bug ?
Hi, I did setup my timezone correctly [GMT+3] but I notice that the date of the games is not correctly displayed in the games archive. Like if despite my time zone setting I was still somewhere else, in the far west.
For example, the games I played this morning [in my time zone] are flaged 14/7/2014 instead of 15/7/2014.
